Idle No More Action at Cutten Club on January 25th

January 21st, 2013

Friday, January 25th at 11:00 rally to welcome Peter Kent, Minister of the Environment

Meet in front of the Cutten Club on College Ave E. at 11am.  Min. Kent will be addressing the Chamber of Commerce at noon on the “positive” things his government has done for our waterways. This peaceful gathering is to show opposition to the governments destructive cuts to the Fisheries Act, the Navigable Waters Protection Act (which will allow increased degradation of our water systems and lower our resilience to withstand severe climate impacts in future years) . We need signs that oppose Line 9 reversal, and Bill C-45 which includes massive cuts to the environment, native land rights and treaties.

Bring signs – Idle No More, Stop Bill C-45, Stop Line 9, respect native treaties – and follow the ocTARpus as we bring attention to these issues.

Fight the OcTARpus!
