Guelph’s 7th Fresh Water Jamboree Festival

September 5th, 2014

It is the 7th year for the Fresh Water Jamboree Festival. The festival was created to raises awareness about Fresh Water in Canada, Sept 13, 2014.

We have a special guest this year! Maude Barlow will be putting on a presentation about the importance of Fresh Water. Maude is one of the most knowledgable people on this subject and you can check her out at

There will be Bands such as Shane Phillips, Ian Andrews and The Smokin’ Scoundrels James Gordon, Glen Soulis, The Soles, and John Layton and more.

Our aim is to educate the public about water conservation before our growing fresh water crisis in Canada and in the world. The UN suggests that each person needs 20-50 litres of water a day to ensure their basic needs for drinking, cooking and cleaning. There are Countries and many corporations exploiting Canada’s Reservoirs and Aquifers. Further more, there is a rapidly growing number of Countries that have little or no access to drinking water. We hope to encourage people to act Locally and think Globally.

We would like to invite you to be involved in this meaningful event. You can donate towards by emailing or email transferring to
