Casserole Rally June 6 at 8 PM in St Georges Square

Wednesday, June 6th.. Casserole Rally  in 8pm St Georges Square,Guelph Show your solidarity with the Quebec student marches for accessible education and system change for democracy.  Bang your “casseroles” (i.e. pots and pans) with a heavy spoon as you walk to the fountain at St. George’s Square for 8 pm, Wednesday June 6th.   We gather there and then march together.  Vive l’education!! Vive la démocratie!!

Montreal students have been on strike for more than 100 days and have been protesting in the streets for 40 days in a row. And guess what …..the world is waking up…..all across Canada and in New York, Belgium, Germany, France, London and Argentina thousands have protested in solidarity. Montreal is showing the world what we can do when we’re all united!  Join your community this Wednesday night at 8:00, wear a red square, bring pots and pans and a sign.  Come out and help make a casserole!   Show your support for students against austerity economics and Bill C-78!
